Question 1

How do I pay?

Accepted Answer

Online, through Razorpay, at the last step. UPI, credit and debit cards, net banking and the usual wallets all work. Nothing card-related touches our servers — the payment window is Razorpay’s, not ours.

Question 2

When am I actually charged?

Accepted Answer

Once, when you confirm in the payment window. The amount shown on the checkout page is the final amount: taxes and platform fees are already in it, and a referral code is applied before you pay, not refunded afterwards.

Question 3

How do referral codes work?

Accepted Answer

Type the code into the referral box while booking. A valid code takes a flat ₹100 off the whole order, no matter how many tickets are in it, and the total updates before you go anywhere near the payment step. One code per booking, and it has to be entered at booking time — we cannot apply one to an order that is already paid.

Question 4

The money left my account but no email arrived. What now?

Accepted Answer

Do not pay again. Open your booking page (the /booking/HOV-XXXXXX link you were sent to after paying) and hit Resend. If the page still shows the booking as unpaid an hour later, email us the reference and the Razorpay payment id and we will sort it out the same day.

Question 5

How does the QR pass actually work?

Accepted Answer

Every pass carries a unique code and a cryptographic signature. The scanner checks the signature before it even looks the pass up, so an edited or invented QR fails on the spot. A pass is marked used the instant it is scanned, which is why the same code cannot get a second person in, even at another door at the same moment.

Question 6

Can I book for a group?

Accepted Answer

You can put up to six passes in one booking and you get six separate QR codes in the same email — forward one to each person. For anything larger, message us and we will set it up.

Question 7

What happens to my details?

Accepted Answer

Name, email and phone are used to issue and deliver your passes and to reach you if the event changes. We do not sell data and there are no advertising trackers on this site. The full detail is in the privacy policy.

Question 8

Do I need an account?

Accepted Answer

No. No sign-up, no password, no app. Your booking reference and the QR in your inbox are the whole thing.

Question 9

How do I get my ticket?

Accepted Answer

You book on this site and the QR pass is emailed to you within a minute. It also appears on your booking page straight away, so you have it even before the email lands.

Question 10

Do I have to print it?

Accepted Answer

No. Show the QR on your phone. Screenshot it before you leave home, because it scans fine offline and venue signal is never reliable.

Question 11

Can two of us use one QR?

Accepted Answer

No. Every QR admits one person and is dead the moment it is scanned. Book two tickets and you get two codes in the same email.

Question 12

How do referral codes work?

Accepted Answer

Type the code into the referral box when you book. A valid code takes a flat ₹100 off the whole order, applied before you pay. One code per booking.

Question 13

Is there a dress code?

Accepted Answer

It is a day party, so wear what you would wear to one. No shorts is not a rule here, but the venue reserves the right of admission.

Question 14

Can I get a refund?

Accepted Answer

Tickets are non-refundable once issued. If we cancel or move the date, you get the full amount back automatically, to the same method you paid with, within 7 working days.

Question 15

Can I change the name on a ticket?

Accepted Answer

Yes, up to 24 hours before doors. Email us from the address you booked with and we will reissue it. The old QR dies at that moment.

Question 16

How do I get there?

Accepted Answer

The venue is announced on the event page and in your ticket email. Follow @houzofvybe for the reveal.
